The Problem
Chart Screenshots Everywhere?
Most traders save charts to their desktop, screenshots to their camera roll, and notes to a spreadsheet they never open again. EdgeBook solves this by replacing scattered files with one organized, searchable trading journal.
Screenshots everywhere
Charts scattered across folders, desktops, and cloud drives. Good luck
finding that perfect setup you saved 3 months ago.
One searchable chart library
All your charts in one place. Tag, filter, and search by symbol,
strategy, setup, result, and more. Find any setup in seconds.
No structured review process
You know you should review your trades, but spreadsheets are tedious
and you never stick with it.
Build your own review flow
Review trades with your actual charts. Rate, tag, annotate, and share
with friends and mentors.
Guessing your edge
You take trades based on feelings, not data. You don't know if your
strategy actually has a positive expectancy.
Know your edge
Save your playbook with entry rules and examples, tag trades to each
setup, and see which strategies are actually working.

Journal wisdom
The edge is in the review.
The most successful traders share one habit: disciplined post-market review. Journaling charts, identifying recurring patterns, and refining setups is how professionals compound their edge over time.

Our Story
Built by a trader with 13+ years of experience who was tired of losing the signal.
Founded by Alex Dubelko, an active trader who spent over a decade saving chart screenshots to unlabeled folders and random cloud drives. The patterns were always there — he just couldn't reliably find them. EdgeBook exists so every trader can surface their edge without digging through a messy bucket of files.
Why I built this
After more than a decade trading, my screenshots kept vanishing into unlabeled
folders and random Google Drive buckets. When I wanted to revisit a setup, I spent more time
hunting than learning. I built EdgeBook to make chart journaling fast, structured, and actually
reviewable for all of us.
Inspired by journal-first traders
A big push came from hearing trader Christian Coolamage talk about building a
journal for himself. It reinforced what every pro says: the discipline of capturing and
reviewing trades is the edge. This app is my answer to making that discipline effortless.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about EdgeBook, chart-first trading journals, and how to structure your trade review process.
EdgeBook is a chart-first trading journal designed for serious traders. It replaces scattered screenshots, spreadsheets, and notes with one organized system where you can upload chart images, tag trades with custom setups, build chart bookmarks, and follow a structured review workflow to improve your trading edge.
EdgeBook is chart-first, meaning it's built around your screenshots rather than raw trade data. While traditional journals focus on P&L tracking from broker imports, EdgeBook lets you drag-and-drop chart screenshots, tag them with 7 built-in categories, build a model database of your strategies, and create visual chart bookmarks — making your review process visual, structured, and repeatable.
A chart-first trading journal puts your chart screenshots at the center of your journaling process, rather than starting with spreadsheet data or broker imports. You upload images from TradingView or your broker, then add tags, notes, and trade details around those visuals. This mirrors how most traders actually think about their trades — through the charts they saw, not rows of numbers.
The chart bookmarks lets you save recurring chart setups with images, notes, and tags. When you spot a setup you trade frequently (like a bull flag or breakout), you save it as a pattern with example charts and entry rules. You then link actual trades to each pattern, so over time you can see exactly which setups are working and which ones to stop trading.
EdgeBook includes 7 built-in tag categories: Market Structure, Volatility, Session, Entry Quality, Exit Quality, Psychology, and Mistakes. You can also create unlimited custom tags. This multi-dimensional tagging lets you filter and search your trade history by any combination of criteria, so you can answer questions like "show me all pre-market breakout trades where I followed my rules."
EdgeBook is currently in beta and available on paid plans. Pricing starts at $33/month on the monthly plan or $299/year (about $24.92/month billed annually) on the yearly plan. Both plans include unlimited screenshots, chart bookmarks, model database, multi-dimensional tagging, and all core features.
A model database is a structured collection of your trading setups — the specific chart patterns, entry criteria, and rules you trade by. EdgeBook combines a chart-first trading journal with a built-in model database so you can define each setup with entry rules, example charts, checklists, and notes, then link every trade you take back to the model it came from. Over time, this shows you exactly which setups produce results and which ones to cut, turning your scattered chart screenshots into a proven, data-backed playbook.
The typical workflow has three steps. First, as you do your market analysis or take trade entries, you screenshot the chart and upload it to EdgeBook. Second, you tag the screenshot and assign it to a setup in your model database — linking it to the specific strategy, pattern, or thesis behind the trade. Third, you set up a review cadence (daily, weekly, or custom) to revisit your entries, grade your execution, and spot recurring patterns. Over time this builds a structured feedback loop: you're not just logging trades, you're systematically learning which setups work, how your execution compares to your plan, and where to improve.
EdgeBook is built for active traders who take chart screenshots as part of their process — including day traders, swing traders, and futures traders. Whether you trade stocks, options, futures, or crypto, if you screenshot charts from TradingView or your broker and want a structured way to review them, EdgeBook is designed for you.
